btw i really like the drawings with everyone’s head buried in a phone— very powerful. 15 years ago it might have been surreal, now it hits a little too close to home for comfort.

I'd like to see a movie where no-one ever looks up from their devices, including the main character. It would be utterly absurd in parts but perhaps at times we would not even notice anything "wrong" with some scenes, and that could be uncanny and unsettling.
I remember camping at a beach a while ago and the tent next to ours was beautiful, facing the sea, fairy lights strung up and food roasting on the stove, and all 4 people were in their camping chairs looking at the phones 😅
