Awww sweet peanut! My son was born very hairy too, I was very intrigued by it.

And I have various nicknames for him during his different phases too, he should be glad it wasn't documented XD

Enjoy these looong days... as they say the years are short :)

Thank you Rachel! I’m already reminded by how fleeting it is as she has lost all the hair on her arms and back. Luckily the hair on her head continues to grow, and I can tell other parents are super jealous. I wonder if you felt the same with your son when he was a newborn (different for boys I would think). Here’s to the hairies!

Both my children were born with head full of hair and they kept growing too, and yes it illicit a lot of envious looks and comments! Some even asked me what's the secret and if I had followed the Chinese tradition to shave off everything for better growth; no I didn't. :)

Omgosh i love this!!!! Congrats on having your baby daughter! She looks adorable. I love illustrations as a way of documenting a child's growth, it requires much more time and effort than just snapping a photo, and, in a way, is an act of love through deep observation.

Thank you Claire! Such a great way of putting it. I’m not sure she will appreciate “deep observation” when she is a teenager so I should enjoy it while it lasts 😅
