I miss comics so here's a quick one
Since welcoming the arrival of Peanut, my brain is largely mush and my creative time reduced to when she is asleep.
In that post I was sceptical that would be able to make comics anytime soon. I think that was based on an assumption that comics must be time consuming and that the end product must be something I am immensely proud of, worthy of showing the outside world and reflecting my growth as an artist and person.
To be honest, I am always fighting that assumption and I really miss making comics.
So here’s one I smashed out each of the three main stages (thumbnail, lineart, tone) in one sitting.
Is it my … best work? Well it’s the best I could do with my current time and priorities, so yes I suppose it is!
